The A61 Corridor – Derby Road is a Mixed Use Development in Chesterfield
The successful relocation of Bryan Donkin Valves to a new, purpose built factory created the opportunity for a major redevelopment of their old site in a key gateway into the town.
The re-development is well under way and has already successfully changed the complexion of the area making it an attractive mix of homes, leisure and shopping while being the new home of the local fire station.
Work has begun on building latest phase of the site with works starting for a new Car Sales Centre for Perry’s, retail space for an outdoor operator and a new gym.
The redevelopment of the area has so far delivered:

- 500 modern houses and apartments
- 250,000 sq ft of high quality office space at Spire Walk
- New skate park
