Do you want to know more about opportunities, funding and support available to upskill your workforce? If yes, then reserve your place at the 2025 Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Employability and Skills Conference.
In focus this year
You may have heard about recent government proposals to launch foundation apprenticeships in key sectors. As well as the intention to invest £40m to create a Growth and Skills Levy. These changes are expected to enhance skills training in the UK and provide businesses with more flexibility. Join us at this year’s conference to find out what this means for your organisation and how you and your teams can benefit.
During the morning, you will access skills support and meet advisors and leaders. They will update on emerging topics, initiatives, funding, and opportunities.
Back by popular demand, the conference will once again include an interactive Round Table session. This is an opportunity to engage with table hosts who are experts on skills support and funding.
The conference seeks to strengthen existing links between education providers and local businesses. This helps ensure school leavers become work-ready and can ‘make it’ in their hometown.
The Chesterfield Skills and Employment Partnership delivers the Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Employability & Skills Conference in association with Chesterfield Borough Council and Destination Chesterfield.
