Chesterfield Observatory

Child looking through a telescope

Come and take a look at the stunning night sky as Chesterfield Observatory is open to the public.

What can you see through the telescopes? Explore the sky every Friday night, when the observatory is open to the public. No need to book, just show up and take a journey through the stars.

If you’re looking to learn from professionals in the field, keep an eye out for the lectures and events listed at the observatory.

Please be aware that if skies are not clear, there is no guarantee there will be visibility through the telescope.
