Chesterfield College is a large college of Further and Higher Education with two campuses based in Chesterfield.
The Infirmary Road campus, based just outside the town centre has a range of specialist facilities for construction, engineering, media and photography, hair and beauty, vehicle body paint and repair and digital technologies. The Lockoford Lane Centre is a specialist facility for the maintenance of motor vehicles. 100s of courses in a range of subjects and levels designed to help people and businesses reach their full potential.
The college offers 100s of courses and a vibrant place of learning for thousands of full and part time students, ranging from entry level and beginner courses all the way through to A Levels and full honours degrees, offered in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Derby.
As part of the wider Chesterfield College group, Learning Unlimited offers over 50 different quality apprenticeships designed to train apprentices in everything from digital media and accountancy to engineering and management. These start at an intermediate level and go all the way up to degree-equivalent qualifications. Working with over 1,900 employers across the UK, 97% have seen a direct benefit of employing an apprentice. Learning Unlimited has centres based in Chesterfield, Derby, Nottingham and Manchester.
The college prides itself on working closely with local employers to ensure the courses they offer meet the demands of the local economy and enable students to get meaningful work experience to enhance their employability.

With its own restaurant, hair and beauty salon and apprenticeship hub, students can get real experiences of working in a live business under the watchful eye of their tutors who all come with industry expertise. West Studios, based on the Infirmary Road campus, is a business incubation hub for start-up business in the creative and digital industries and provides students with access to working artists and entrepreneurs.
