So Long Farewell A story of The Great War

Remembrance ceremony at the Proact

Chesterfield FC’s annual Remembrance Ceremony will take place next week.

The ceremony, held to remember the 17 players and officials from the club who gave their lives in the two World Wars, will take place on Friday November 10, starting at 1.30pm.

As Armistice Day falls on a matchday, the ceremony is being held a day early to allow the first-team squad and management to attend.

The short ceremony will be held by the Memorial Garden, which is at the rear of the Proact Stadium. All are welcome to attend.
