Countdown begins to Chesterfield Pride
The countdown is on for the return of Chesterfield Pride on Sunday 22nd August at Stand Road Park.
Chesterfield Pride is one of the biggest and best attended Pride events in the region with 2019 seeing over 6000 attending the LGBTQ+ celebration.
This year’s event will see some amazing talent spread over 2 stages.
The Chesterfield Borough Council Main stage will welcome acts including Stooshe, Big Brovaz, Sonia, Booty Luv, Tina Cousins and Black Lace.
The Cabaret Stage will be headlined by Ru Paul’s Drag Race star Joe Black, who will be joined by amazing drag artists KY Kelly, Jackie Love and Donna Trump and a number of local artists including Rachael Webster, KYOTO and Andrew Warner.
There will also be fairground rides and a variety of stalls hosted by local organisations as part of the day’s line-up.
Those who want that special experience can reserve tickets for the VIP area which organisers have promised lots of surprises thanks to their sponsor Van Dyk Hotel.

Organisers have worked with the council to ensure that all necessary Covid-19 safety measures are in place at the open-air venue, which will be a ticket-only event.
