Chesterfield FC launches new Community Awards
Nominations are now being accepted for the Chesterfield FC Community Awards, which will be handed out on Saturday, April 16 at the Technique Stadium.
The club is launching the ceremony in order to recognise those caring individuals in Chesterfield and North Derbyshire who selflessly put others first.
The awards are going to be uplifting, featuring superb entertainment and a range of awards given to some truly outstanding people who have made a significant contribution over what has been an incredibly challenging year.
Bridget Ball, Chesterfield FC’s marketing manager, said: “We are thrilled to be able to put on an event like this. After such a testing time for everyone, we want to show those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty that their efforts are very much appreciated.
“It promises to be a night full of tears and laughter, making it an event to remember and I am really looking forward to it.”

- Chesterfield Royal Hospital Hero of the Year Award
- Young Person of Courage Award

- Carer of the Year Award
- Local Hero of the Year Award
- Neighbor of the Year Award
- Fundraiser of the Year Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award

The closing date for nominations is Friday, March 25, 2022 at 5pm.
