Maximising local employment & supply chain opportunities
Chesterfield Borough Council works closely with developers. The team is keen to ensure regeneration projects create opportunities for Chesterfield businesses and residents. Projects should:
- Create employment for local people in the construction and operation of developments
- Facilitate training for local people to help them access the job opportunities created
- Enable local businesses to compete for contracts arising from development.
