Formed in 1989, Pronto Paints has many years of experience in the coating industry and a track record of customer care. From sole trader to the present day, Pronto Paints has flourished ever since its founder, Terry Harris saw a gap in the market for ‘One Coat’ finishes.
Settled into headquarters in Chesterfield and remaining true to its roots, Pronto Paints is a family-owned and run business that takes great pride in its products and customer service. Special attention is paid to all customers and their specific needs, as well as providing technical advice and back up support. Pronto has received several national awards for the quality of product and is the only company to win the BCF ‘Coatings Care’ award three times.
Since 2018, Pronto Paints has seen substantial growth, now owning 3 sites on the Holmewood Industrial Estate.
Managing Director, David Beckford completed a 2 year spell as President of the British Coatings Federation in 2020. “Chesterfield works so well for our business, in terms of access to a skilled workforce and being able to serve the UK from a central location,” says David. “I couldn’t imagine Pronto Paints ever moving away from our roots, especially as we have now over 85,000sqft of manufacturing space to complement our ambitious growth plans.”
