Carbon Management in Business

Two women sitting at a desk with a view of the crooked spire out the window

Carbon management is becoming increasingly important. After all, businesses have significant carbon emissions impact and a key role to reduce emissions to help meet the government’s Net Zero target by 2050.

There are six key reasons why it makes sense for SMEs to manage their carbon:

  1. Helps to reduce operational costs
  2. Improves energy efficiency
  3. Reduces waste
  4. Signals to customers that they’re a business that cares
  5. Helps to comply with environmental legislation
  6. Improves competitiveness including through the tendering process

It’s a complex area and there is SO much to learn; including the appropriate terminology! Do you undertake carbon accounting? Do you know the difference between Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, and how to measure and manage them? Have you closed the accuracy gap within your business?

This one-day Carbon Management in Business workshop will provide a deep learning experience, giving you the skills and resources needed to reduce carbon use in your business.
