Read the draft industrial strategy 2035 to discover proposed plans to ease the investor journey and create long-term growth that is sustainable and inclusive. The government invites businesses to have a say before the final paper is published in 2025, alongside the multi-year spending review.

The industrial strategy is based on eight “growth-driving” sectors:

– Advanced Manufacturing
– Clean Energy Industries
– Creative Industries
– Defence
– Digital and Technologies
– Financial Services
– Life Sciences
– Professional and Business Services

East Midlands Chamber invites members to share their views on the industrial strategy via one of three online events. Each event breaks down the most pertinent elements of the Green Paper and provides an opportunity for the Chamber to gather evidence for its response to the Government.

All businesses can also share views via a public survey online until the end of 24th November 2024.
