How can you help promote Chesterfield?
What can you do to help promote Chesterfield and North Derbyshire as a wonderful place to invest, work, live and visit?
We would love our 230 Chesterfield Champions to help spread the word over the coming months by sharing one or more of Destination Chesterfield‘s marketing activities.
You could help promote the town through your business and personal social media accounts. You could include information about Chesterfield and North Derbyshire on your internal communications, linking to the Chesterfield website from your business website. And of course, we’d love you to share via word of mouth.
1. Visit
Encourage customers and friends to spend their leisure time in the town. Search for #ChesterfieldEvents to find the latest social media activities across our consumer Instagram, Facebook and X channels. Comment on our social media posts to boost our reach. You can also create your own posts and link to the Chesterfield events website. Our photography library can also be used to promote Chesterfield.
In addition, we are trialling a TikTok channel.
2. Work/live

As demand grows for business events, we encourage you to help spread the word about all Chesterfield events. Find our business event posts by searching simultaneously for #ChesterfieldEvents and #ChesterfieldBusiness. Comment on our social media posts via our business LinkedIn, Facebook and X accounts to boost our reach. You can also create your own posts and link to the Chesterfield events website. Our photography library can be used to promote Chesterfield.
We are also working on a new business event section for the Chesterfield website to boost our marketing activities. We are also creating extra social media slots and testing LinkedIn newsletters to boost our reach.
3. Invest
We are passionate about helping local businesses to start and grow, whether that be providing events to engage with or showcasing funding and grants.

4. Celebrate
Our photography library helps promote our town as a fantastic place to invest, work, live and visit. We thank all our Chesterfield Champions for volunteering their time to keep this updated regularly. Please do make use of the photography for non-commercial use.
