Chesterfield Historic Pub Tour

The 2025 Chesterfield historic pub tours begin in May. Expect a spine chilling exploration into 8 pubs, on the Chesterfield Historic Pub Tour. Each with its own ghost stories to tell.

The twisted history of many Chesterfield pubs seems to include a ghost story or two. From gruesome murders to tragic fires, the stories behind the hauntings will unfold on this new tour. Each story is delivered in person by your blind tour guide, Shaun Stevenson – he sees the world very differently!

Fortunately, there is an opportunity to purchase a stiff drink on a regular basis during the tour, as you will stop at some of the pubs still operating. All told, the tour takes around five hours but covers a distance of less than a mile, and is largely dog-friendly.

Tickets

A fun afternoon whether you believe in ghosts or not, the tour begins at 12pm from The Pig & Pump, St Mary’s Gate on specially selected Saturdays. You can turn up on the day and pay in cash, £10 per person. It is preferred that you book in advance for which you will receive a discounted price of £8 per person.

If you’re brave enough to book a place on the tour, text your request to 07908183160.
