Vicar Lane will be hosting a number of Christmas fun activity days throughout this Christmas period!

Visit Santa in his Grotto

Selected dates from Sunday 17th November – Sunday 24th December. See specific dates and times. 

You’re invited to experience the magic of Christmas with a trip to Vicar Lane’s cosy grotto to meet Santa!

Santa has travelled all the way over from the North Pole to spread festive cheer at Vicar Lane. Come and meet the big man himself and receive and gift and ‘nice list’ certificate to take home. If you wish, you can even get an official photo!

Autism friendly experiences are also available, however for these sessions booking is essential. Please email sarah@vicarlane.com or call the office between 9am-5pm on 01246 234630 (option 2). Every child’s needs will be discussed upon booking so light, sounds and environment can be tailored accordingly.

Festive Wreath Workshop at Vicar Lane

In conjunction with Thanks A Bunch, Vicar Lane is hosting a Christmas Wreath workshop.

You’re invited to make a beautiful wreath to adorn your home for the festive season. Whether you’re a beginner or have previous experience, the workshop is perfect for all skill levels. Expert florists will teach participants how to assemble a wreath base using fresh greenery such as pine, fir, and holly as well as lots of tips and tricks on how to decorate the wreath and add additional touches.

Advanced booking is required. Tickets are £40 per person which includes all the materials and equipment required to make the wreath and light refreshments.

Can you help Santa this Christmas?

Rudolph is going on holiday so Santa needs you to pick an animal that can assist him whilst his red nosed friend is away.

Take part in the free augmented reality trail around the centre to help him decide!

Simply find a vinyl in one of the shop windows and scan the QR code to get started!

Once complete you’ll receive a free festive e-book and be entered into the prize draw to win a £50 The Works voucher.

The Christmas Workshop

Saturday 23rd November – Tuesday 24th December. See specific dates and times. 

Families will be able to join the jolly elves in The Christmas Workshop next to Cards Direct for free festive workshops. Workshops include letter writing to Santa, elf training, decorate a cookie, glitter face painting, festive singing and more.

This event is organised by Vicar Lane Shopping Centre.
