Morgan Rodgers – CBE+

Morgan Rodgers – CBE+

Name: Morgan Rodgers

Age: 20

Employer: CBE+

Apprenticeship: Level 3 Business Administration

Morgan was on a football scholarship and decided that an apprenticeship was the best route for him. When he decided to change career direction.

He commented: “I chose to do an apprenticeship so I could study a useful and beneficial course whilst also earning a wage. This course is allowing me to gain first-hand experience in a workplace whilst gaining a qualification.”

“The biggest appeal to me about an apprenticeship was that I wasn’t just working and receiving a wage, I am also able to gain qualifications to build my CV to impress potential employers in the future.”

Morgan now plans to complete his apprenticeship and carry on as a full-time employee at CBE+. It’s also important to him that, beyond his apprenticeship, he continues with his development and progression in the company as well as his education.

Thinking about an apprenticeship? Morgan’s advice…

My advice would be to apply for plenty of apprenticeships and keep your options open. Studying something you enjoy is important.
