DCJ Group Insurance & Risk management was established in Chesterfield in 1991. From fairly humble beginnings, the company have grown to their current position, controlling circa £12 million in premium income and employing 30 staff. Most of this growth has been organic although, the insurance brokers have also acquired businesses along the way.
In 2018, they became part of Global Risk Partners (GRP). In July 2022 GRP were acquired by Brown & Brown, a publicly traded business in the USA. As a result, DCJ are now a part of the 6th largest broker in the world. The DCJ identity has however been retained and they are committed to provided professional, personal service to their client base, which is predominantly located in and around Chesterfield. At the same time, the brokers are able to exert strength in the insurer marketplace to obtain the best cover at competitive premium levels.
