DBCP
Formed in 2017, DBCP is the result of the collaboration of eight forward-thinking local authorities, including; Derby City Council, Chesterfield Borough Council, Derbyshire Dales District Council, North East Derbyshire District Council, Bolsover District Council, Amber Valley Borough Council, Staffordshire Moorlands and High Peak Borough Council. This collaboration has created the most effective and efficient service to deliver all the area’s building control requirements.
The DBCP team has long been at the heart of investment in Chesterfield – both commercial and residential, ensuring that all new construction, conversions, alterations and extensions are built to a minimum standard and meet certain health, safety and welfare standards. DBCP works to industry codes of conduct as well as these regulations to ensure that every project is fully compliant.
Based in Dunston Innovation Centre in Chesterfield, it provides an ideal base for DBCP’s team of surveyors, giving them easy access to road networks across the county.
Neil Johnson (right), Managing Director of DBCP comments: “We’ve come a long way since launching the business, widening our reach across Derbyshire and into Staffordshire Moorlands, We continue to strengthen our team of building control surveyors to ensure we provide the most responsive service.”
“Every member of the team is committed and dedicated to making DBCP the very best; but we are always looking for new ways to further improve the services we provide.”
