Chesterfield Champions

Derbyshire County Cricket Club

The BRM Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, in association with Chesterfield Borough Council, will return to Queen’s Park in 2024 with Derbyshire set to do battle with local rivals Yorkshire in the 4-day County Championship match. The festival will take place from Sunday 30th June – Wednesday 3rd July.

Following this, on Sunday 7th July, the Vitality Blast T20 match will take place, also against the Yorkshire Vikings.

In total, Derbyshire’s 2024 schedule includes 41 fixtures, while Members can also enjoy free access to England fixtures hosted at Derby, meaning Membership remains the best-value way to follow Derbyshire in 2024.

Jimmy Drew, Commerical Manager of Derbyshire County Cricket Club commented,

“Chesterfield has a really good opportunity to capitalise on the great things that are taking place in the town and the surrounding area as well”
