Sparky Ink Studio
Based in the heart of Chesterfield Town Centre, Sparky Ink Studio is a place for ‘inkers and thinkers’, run by a small team of people passionate about their sector.
Sparky Ink Studio specialises in working with Children and Adults on the Autistic Spectrum and are fully equipped to support those with additional needs, giving a unique and accessible offering to the Local Area.
The team at Sparky Ink Studio run a wide range of workshops including : Games Development & Design, Animation, Film & Photography, Art & Creative Writing, Editing and Broadcasting & Production. These workshops are specially designed to develop trade skills. The workshops rotate and change to suit the need of their clients.
The studio is also recognised as an Arts Award centre, a project that inspires young people in growing arts and leadership talents, as well as offering a range of unique qualifications that supports anyone up to the age of 25. This means Sparky Ink Studio can certificate/moderate the work delivered by its students.
Sparky Ink Studio are endeavouring to provide workshops and learning experiences in an inclusive and accessible way, with passion for the field backing their work. They welcome volunteers and want to connect with the town to help spread their message and vision.
Jane-marie Wright, Founder & Creative Director said: “I fell in love with Chesterfield a long time ago and have lived in North East Derbyshire for a good 25+ years.
“I felt that Chesterfield was the right place to set up the Studio as my Autism Children’s Club has run in Derbyshire since 2003, so it made sense to continue supporting Autism through the Digital Storytelling that Sparky Ink Studio offers.”
