The Children’s Hospital Charity
The Children’s Hospital Charity is raising money to help make Sheffield Children’s Hospital even better. This is through raising funds and making enhancements that go over and above the NHS provision
The money raised through donations buys life-saving equipment, provides funds for vital research and helps to provide treatment for thousands of children from across the world. It also helps create a comfortable, engaging environment for patients at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
Patients visit Sheffield Children’s from across the country and worldwide. This includes South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, and Lincolnshire amongst other locations.
Over 16,000 children from across Chesterfield and Derbyshire visit Sheffield Children’s each year for specialist care and treatment.
The support of generous businesses and individuals enables the Charity to transform the facilities at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Helping to match the environment to the world-class care already being provided by staff.
Sophie Coburn, Corporate Partnerships Officer at The Children’s Hospital Charity said,
“We are proud to have joined the Chesterfield Champions and excited to work with more businesses and individuals from across Chesterfield to help make our amazing hospital even better for patients and families.
This year we are also expanding our annual Christmas light display into Chesterfield. Our snowflake decorations will now also be hosted in a new location in Chesterfield, in addition to our Sheffield locations. This will support an opportunity for new businesses to donate to us through sponsoring a snowflake.
We’d like to say a special thank you to the Chesterfield Champions for their support”
