Innovative and adaptive, Windowcharm Blinds and Curtain Services is a third-generation family business, manufacturing a wide range of window furnishings.
In 1975 Leonard Warrilow, father of James, the current CEO, began Windowcharm, seeing the need for quality window furnishings in the region. Working with a vast cross-section of blue-chip clients for decades has given Windowcharm experience and expertise in all sectors including Healthcare, Education, Accommodation, Hospitality and Commercial property.
Investment in 2021 saw Windowcharm acquire Harrisons Signs & Graphics, bringing window films and manifestation in under the Windowcharm Umbrella as another strong lever in their range of products.
Part of this acquisition also allows them to now offer furniture wrapping services too, which is a cost effecting and sustainable way of refreshing existing fixtures and fittings. In the same year, the company expanded into a new office premises in Chesterfield, enabling it to further scale up its operations.
The company tagline dates back nearly as far as the company itself, as Leonard said: “Every window needs a blind and there is a Windowcharm blind for every window.”
The company is actively involved in the business community, attending various Chesterfield Champions events and getting involved with the town’s Property and Construction Group, which supports growth, skills, sustainability and developments taking place across the town.
Director, Arne Warrilow commented: “Chesterfield’s central UK location and excellent transport connectivity means that we can easily provide our services across the country. As a business, we are proud to be a Chesterfield Champion and helping to raise the profile of the area.
“We moved into a new office on Whittington Way back in 2021, giving us further focus and direction to support the town and the development in the area. Our passion and keen interest for the town dates back many years.”
