Workpays
Aptly named, ‘Workpays’ is a leading training provider with an unparalleled understanding of employability and workplace skills. Their passion for helping people to get real jobs and employers to upskill their workforce, has led Workpays to refine a range of adaptable learning and development programmes to meet the needs of both employers and employees alike.
As the lead for Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools (ASK) across the Midlands and East Midlands, Workpays is at the heart of supporting people getting into work through an apprenticeship. We support 650 schools, 30,000 students and 1,300 teachers to understand more about Apprenticeships and Traineeships, as a positive career entry point and alternative to university.
Workpays are particularly proud of their track record in working with NEETS (young people Not in Education, Employment or Training) where they have had great success in building confidence, self-esteem and work-based skills. As a direct result of Workpays support, many of these young people are now in work placement schemes or full-time employment.
As well as working with young people and apprentices, Workpays also run programmes and courses for individuals who have either recently been made redundant or are at risk of redundancy. Typically, these courses offer support in Career planning, CV writing, Interview techniques and how to successfully search for a job in the new digital world we now live in.
Workpays also offer fully funded bespoke training programmes for local businesses to upskill their workforce either at their own offices or on location to minimise disruption. These courses have proven essential to small and medium sized businesses, with many enjoying a highly skilled, focused and happier workforce upon their return.
