Charity car park in Chesterfield to support Ashgate Hospice

A car park in Chesterfield is giving motorists the chance to support Ashgate Hospice each time they use it.

Bank Park, a charity car park operator, has taken on the management of another scheme in the town, with the latest now being the organisation’s 4th site in Chesterfield.

Spa Lane Car Park sits just off the slip road from the A61 (behind the Bridge Inn pub). The site provides a fully lined and tarmacked 83 space car park. It also provides drivers with state of the art cashless payment terminals, along with use of Bank Park’s Twinpay App.

Nick Hill, Regional Director of Bank Park, commented: “The shift towards cashless payments aligns with the broader trends of the parking industry, where technological advancements are re-shaping traditional practices.

“At Bank Park, we pride ourselves on our innovation and forward thinking. Just with every single Bank Park pay to park scheme, we support fantastic local worthy causes.

“Patrons of the car park can feel proud to know that everytime they park in a Bank Park scheme a portion of the revenue is donated to a fabulous charity.

“The charity we are extremely proud to support is the Ashgate Hospice Appeal. This incredible charity offers unique help to patients and families living with terminal illness. But also provides much needed support to families who have lost loved ones.”

Bank Park supports the marketing and economic growth of the town through Chesterfield Champions, a network of over 200 organisations across Chesterfield and North Derbyshire.
