The Peak District Highland Games is being hosted by Matlock Farm Park and they’ll be giving one lucky winner two tickets to the event. Interested? Take a seat in the grandstand or on rustic straw bales to watch some of the country’s leading strongmen and mighty strongwomen compete in the hugely popular Peak District Highland Games! An expert MC will provide full commentary throughout the day on the athletes’ progress. Spectators will be gripped as they soak up the exciting atmosphere!
Enjoy super events of The Eight Tonne Tractor Pull, The Peak District Dinnie Stone Challenge, The Tossing of the Caber, The GIANT Stone Throw, The 120kg Log Press and The Stone of Destiny Carry! the Greater Manchester Piper Band and Scottish Dancing will provide entertainment during the opening ceremony parade and lunchtime interval. Plus, explore the market, craft and games stalls, food and drink concessions and wonderful animal activities. There will even be short children’s pony rides, small animal petting and more! There’s great playtime fun too for the children, featuring the fantastic Enchanted Hamlet and Rainforest indoor play barn.
